Their advice to new editors: "Stick with it. We all know it can be hard to know what to do when you're first starting out. If you think wikiHow is like Wikipedia... it's not. Over there, you might get overwhelmed by complicated guidelines and butt heads with other people because your edit went against their policies. But over here, we have one of the friendliest communities anywhere on the internet, and we try our best to create a supportive, open environment where it's easy to get involved. So don't be afraid to make an edit and ask for help when you need to.
