Meet Eric, a wikiHow admin who has been active in the community for over 17 years! He enjoys helping new contributors, doing admin and maintenance tasks around the wiki, and tackling cleanup projects to improve articles.
Why they contribute to wikiHow: "wikiHow is powered by an amazing, diverse team of volunteer editors who share a common vision of bringing knowledge to the world and teaching everyone to do anything! Being able to be part of a project with such an ambitious mission makes me proud of the editing that I do. I continue to edit wikiHow because, even as the community continues to grow and wikiHow becomes larger, we continue to stay focused on our mission and regularly adapt new changes and enhancements to the site so that we can continually improve and reach/teach more people in more ways."
Their advice to new editors: "Don't worry about trying to get "a bunch of edits" or creating several articles. Start slowly by learning more about wikiHow, by reading through the wikiHow Tour and About wikiHow page.
