Press and hold either volume button and the right side button. Holding down these two buttons at the same time for several seconds will display a power off slider.[1] -
Drag the slider to the right. Wait about 30 seconds for your iPhone 12 Pro Max to turn off.[2]- When your iPhone 12 Pro Max is powered down, turning it back on is easy. Just press and hold the right side button until the Apple logo appears.
- If your iPhone is unresponsive, you can force it to restart.
