Do you want to take iCloud off the Mail app for your iPhone? If you have an Apple account, you may also have an iCloud email address. To disable it, you'll just need to go into your settings. Here's how to turn off iCloud Mail on an iPhone.

To turn off iCloud emails on your iPhone, open Settings and tap your Apple account. Tap iCloud > iCloud Mail > toggle off Use on this iPhone.

   Open the Settings app. This is the grey cog icon.

   • Keep in mind that disabling your iCloud mail account doesn't delete or otherwise affect your mail. You just won't receive any new notifications or mail on your iPhone.
   • To permanently turn off iCloud Mail, you'll need to delete the Apple ID, which is not recommended.

   "Use on this iPhone". The switch will turn grey.

   • iCloud Mail will now be disabled.

   • If you haven't updated to iOS 18, skip this step.

   • If you haven't updated to iOS 18, you'll find this under Passwords.

   Tap an account. You'll see a list of all currently added mail accounts.

   Tap Delete Account. This is at the bottom.

   Tap Delete Account again. The email account will be removed from your iPhone.

   • To delete another email, tap it, and then tap Delete Account twice.
