Do you want to stop friends or random people from joining your Roblox games? You can stop this easily by changing your visibility settings in Roblox. This will prevent other players from seeing you online and from joining your games and other experiences. Keep in mind that you must have the proper permissions to change your settings. Here's how to turn off joins in Roblox on your iPhone, iPad, Android, or computer.

1. Open Roblox and select More in the bottom-right corner.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Privacy.
4. Select Visibility & private servers.
5. Select Visibility.
6. Set "Show current experience" to No one.

   Make sure you have proper permissions. If a parent or guardian created the account for you, you may not have the permission to change the Visibility & private servers setting yourself. In this case, you'll need to ask them to change the setting for you.

   • If this is your own account, make sure your age is verified.

   Restart Roblox. If people are still joining your Roblox experiences despite changing the settings, try restarting Roblox on your device.

   Log in and out again. If your changes aren't being saved, log out of your Roblox account and then log in again. Return to the Visibility & private servers settings and confirm that No one is still selected.

   Set your other privacy settings to "No one". If you have joins turned off and want to also appear offline in Roblox, you can adjust your privacy settings. Do the following:

   • Navigate to your Settings.
   • Select Privacy.
   • Select each of the drop-down menus and select No one:
     • Who can message me?
     • Who can chat with me in app?
     • Who can chat with me?
     • Who can join me in experiences?
     • Who can see my inventory?
     • Who can trade with me?
   • Enter your account PIN if necessary.

   Check Roblox's status. In some cases, your changes may not be saved due to issues on Roblox's end. You can check Downdetector for any problems with Roblox. If you see a sudden spike in user reports, it's likely an issue that Roblox must fix.
