Do you want to make a Facebook album shareable? If you want an album your friends can add to, you can add them as contributors. If you just want to share a link to the album in a group, a post, or a comment, you can use the Share menu. Here's how to share an album on Facebook using your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android.
Quick Steps
- Tap the album you want to share.
- Tap •••.
- Tap Edit Album.
- Toggle on Add Contributors and select Choose friends.
- Tap the friends you want to add.
- Tap Done.

Open Facebook. This app looks like a white "f" on a blue background. You can find this app icon on one of your Home screens, by searching, or in the app drawer.

Tap your profile picture icon. This is at the top, near What's on your mind?
- You can also tap the three-line menu icon and then tap your name to go to your profile.

Tap Photos. You'll find this underneath your name.

Tap Albums. This is the tile underneath the Your photos and videos header.

Tap the album you want to add contributors to. This cannot be an auto-generated album like "Profile Pictures" or "Cover Photos."

Tap •••. This three-dot menu icon is in the top-right corner of your screen.
- If you want to link someone to your album without making them a contributor, tap Share next to Comment. You can then paste the link into Messenger, a Facebook post or comment, or another website.

Tap Edit Album (iOS) or Edit (Android). It's next to an icon of a pencil.

Tap Choose friends. A list of your Facebook friends will appear with suggestions listed first.

Tap the friends you want to add, and then tap Done. The circle next to their name will fill and their name will appear at the top of the screen to indicate that they have been selected.
- If you don't want to scroll down the list to find your friends, you can search for them using the search bar at the top of your screen.

Tap Done again. This is in the top-right corner. Once it's finished updating, your friend should receive a notification that they've been added to your album as a contributor.[1]

Log into https://www.facebook.com/ in a web browser. You should see your home feed.

Click your profile picture in the top-left corner. This will open your Facebook profile.

Click Photos. This tab is under your cover photo.

Click Albums. All the displayed photos will be replaced by the albums you have created.

Click ••• . This is at the top-right of the album you want to share.
- If you want to link someone to your album without making them a contributor, click the album, and then click Share above the comment section. You can then paste the link into Messenger, a Facebook post or comment, or another website.
- Keep in mind that you can't add contributors to automatically generated albums like Mobile Uploads.[2]

Click Edit album. This is in the pop-up menu.
