Changing Right-Click Button

If you can't right-click on a Steam Deck, make sure you're using the correct button. You can right-click (or secondary click) on the Steam Deck by pressing the L2 left trigger or by tapping the left trackpad. This wikiHow will show you how to right click on Steam Deck in Desktop mode.

Things You Should Know

To right-click on a Steam Deck, enter Desktop mode and press L2 (left trigger).
You can also tap the left trackpad to right-click a file or an empty space on the desktop.
Remap the right-click button in Steam. Go to "Settings" → "Controller" → "Desktop Configuration" → "Right-click".
