When you only have a four or five minute break between classes, it can be tough to get from class to class and you sure don't need your locker opening and closing slowing you down. 1. Once you have your locker open, be sure to hold up the lever and don't let go of it.
  2. Open it.
  3. Next time you need to use your locker, all you need to do is push up the lever. No need to put in your combination.
  4. Now your locker is rigged.
  5. Look behind the lock and you will find a black metal bar that is pushed up.
  6. Now you can close your locker. Spin the locker to the right about three times. The locker is now properly locked again.

  1. Once you have your locker open, be sure to hold up the lever.
  2. With the lever still pushed up, look inside. You'll see the metal bar directly behind the combination lock.
  3. Above the metal thing, there should be a piece of metal with a hole in it. Put a pencil in the hole.
    • Use a pencil that you don't really need. Another student or staff member might find your locker rigged and take the pencil.
  4. Now your locker is rigged.

Tips

  • Another approach is to simply train yourself to use the combination code quickly each time. It really isn't that much more effort. Place books and bag at your feet, to free up your hands.
  • Don't tell anyone how to rig their lockers. Either, they'll know that they can get in your locker, they will spread the news and an adult may hear it. Or, when the news has gone too far, teachers that may be supervising will see that not many people are making an effort in opening their lockers.
