  1. The test went viral in 2022 thanks to TikTok, and since then, millions of people have taken the quiz to find out just how innocent they are. The quiz asks you to tick off the things you’ve done in your life, with scenarios about your dating experience, criminal history, and drug and alcohol consumption. The more things you’ve done on the list, the less innocent you are.[1]
    • The test was first created in the early 1920s at Rice University (hence the name Rice Purity Test).
    • While the Rice Purity Test originated in a scholarly setting, there is no organization or institution currently overseeing the official test. The psychological basis of the test, therefore, isn’t inclusive, as the test is meant to be lighthearted and fun.[2]

So I just took this rice purity test online for the first time and got a 75. I haven't seen any of my friends' scores yet, so I don't know if mine is good or bad compared to theirs. I just want to get down to the meaning of it and if these scores are really something I should be that concerned about.
