If you need to sort the pictures in one of your iPad's photo albums, you can easily do so by dragging them to new locations. You can also apply Filters to find what you need quickly. Here's how to rearrange photos in an iPad or iPhone photo album.
Organizing iPad Album Photos
To move album photos in a custom order on an iPad, tap and hold a photo or video. Drag it to a new position, and then release it. If you want to rearrange the Recents folder, you can use Filters.
Steps
-
Open the Photos app. This looks like a multicolored flower icon.[1]
- This method will work on iPad and iPhone devices.
-
Tap the album you want to rearrange. You'll find your albums underneath the Albums header.
- You can't rearrange the default Recents album. It must be an album you created. However, you can use filters to sort any album.
