How do I turn on the internet on my Macbook Pro?

If you look at the status bar near the top of your screen, you should see a WiFi signal (which looks like a bunch of concentric arcs). If there's a slash through the icon, your internet is off. You can click on that icon to turn the WiFi on and off as well as choose which network you're connected to.

If your Mac does not appear to have a power button, it may be a newer model. Press and hold the Touch ID sensor, which is the upper-rightmost "key" on the keyboard. On Touch Bar compatible MacBooks, it is at the very right side of the Touch Bar.

Originally my Mac Mini was hooked up to a TV using HDMI. Now I want to switch to a computer monitor with VGA and DVI input. Can I just power off, move, and power on?
