What is the best way to store a cut apple?

Lightly coat the apple in lemon juice and put in a sealed container in the fridge. The lemon juice will prevent the apple from turning brown!

Cover with cling film and refrigerate for no longer than 1 day if you want to eat as fruit. If you would be using it in a recipe such as the worlds tiniest apple pie, you can cut into small pieces and freeze in a zip lock or plastic for a long time.
