I wouldn't recommend using bleach to remove stains from carpet. Bleach is pretty strong, and you might risk removing the dye on the carpet along with the stain.

How do I remove nail polish from clothes?

    Community Answer
The process to remove nail polish from clothes and fabrics is quite similar to removing nail polish from carpet. Place the stained material on top of an old towel or rag. Wet a clean cloth with non-acetone nail polish remover and blot the stain. As you blot, the nail polish will be transferred to the towel underneath the material. Wash and rinse the garment once the stain has been removed.
