Adding Album Art in Windows Media Player
To automatically put a cover photo on an MP3 file in Windows Media Player, right-click the song or album and select Find album info. Select an album from the results and click Finish. To add your own album art, drag and drop an image onto the existing art.

-
Add the music file. If you don't see your music file in the library, click the Music tab on the left, and then drag and drop the MP3 file into the Windows Media Player window.
