Turning on the “115” Black Ops Easter Egg Song
- Find the first rock in the starting room next to a sofa and press the action button.
- Find the second rock in the dressing room near the lockers.
- Find the third rock in the backroom between the alley and the stage.
- Activate the final rock to start playing “115” in-game.
Steps
How to Activate the “115” Easter Egg Song
-
Locate the first rock in the starting room’s sofa. Run straight from where you started towards the theatre doors, then locate the sofa. Then, head towards the wall and walk into it. Look down, and you should see the first rock. Press the action button until you hear a soft screech and hear your character say something, confirming you have found the rock.[1]
-
Locate the second rock in the room with the MP40 and Stakeout. Open the dressing room door on the right side of the map. Turn to your left, then head towards the lockers near the MP5K. Crouch down, and you should see the second rock. Press the action button to hear your character say something, confirming you have found the second rock.[2]Advertisement

Locate the third rock in the backroom between the alley and the stage. Go into the alley and open the gate to the back room. In the back room, go where the windows are and turn right. There is a tall piece of furniture that has shelves on the right wall. Look for the red rock, then press the action button to confirm that you’ve found the rock.[3]
- When you find the final rock, your character will say something like, "I found the last rock!" The song will then start playing.
- If you turn the SFX volume and voice volume down all the way, it makes the song easier to hear.

Trivia About the “115” Easter Egg Song
-
The song was first heard in Call of Duty: World at War. Before the “115” easter egg song made its debut in Kino Der Toten, it was featured as the end screen song in the Der Riese zombie map in Call of Duty: World at War. Once all players died, the screen listed their stats as the beginning of the song played.[4]
-
The song references the meteor that gave rise to the zombies. In Call of Duty Zombies lore, the 115 meteor crashed on Earth and slowly started to infect those who came across it. As Nazi scientists tried to utilize the meteor to create new weapons and equipment, it had the unintended side effect of creating the undead zombies you fight in-game.[5]
-
“115” also makes various appearances in other Call of Duty games. Aside from the original Black Ops, “115” appears in Black Ops 3’s remastered version of Kino der Toten. It also appears in Black Ops 6’s campaign mission “Emergence,” as well as after an “Infected” match. An instrumental version of the song appears as another easter egg in Call of Duty Modern Warfare III, as well, specifically in the “Operation Deadbolt” mission of “Countermeasures.”
-
Nikolai will occasionally sing along to the song. The Russian character “Nikolai” is known for his funny in-game lines and antics, so listen out the next time you activate “115” while playing as him. Sometimes, he will sing his own version of the song while slaying zombies, bringing a humorous, relatable flair to the game.
