Did you know you can join any Discord server if you have an invite link? If you don't have a server link, you'll need to ask someone within the server for the invite. You can also browse other social media websites to find public Discord communities and servers you can join. Here's how to join a Discord server on Android.

Open the Discord app. This looks like Discord's mascot, Wumpus, with a blue-purple background. If you aren't already logged in, enter your email address and password to do so now.
- If you were sent a server invite directly through a Direct Message, you can tap Join to automatically join the server.^{[1]

- If you want to manually enter a server invite link shared from a different platform, continue with this method.

Tap +. It’s in the left column. This opens the Servers window.
- If you don't see this panel, tap the Home tab at the bottom-left corner.

Tap Join a Server. This is at the bottom of the page.
- Keep in mind you must have the invite link on hand.

Enter the server’s invite link. If you don’t have an invite URL or code for a specific server, try searching for one online.
- You can browse other platforms like X (Twitter), Instagram, or TikTok for servers. Just search for your interest along with the tag "DiscordServer" or similar.
- If you see Invite Expired, you'll need to ask for another invite.
It’s the blue button at the bottom of the screen. Now that you’ve joined the server, you’ll see its icon in the list of servers along the left side of Discord.

What if it's saying "Invite expired"?

You will need to ask for another invite from whomever sent it to you. I think you can set it so that it either doesn't expire, or expires in 30 minutes.

Look for a Discord server you want to join, and see if there is a code listed. If there is not a code listed, ask for the code. Once you have the code, go to Discord, click the plus button, click "Join," then paste your code into the box.
