    If you're having trouble downloading Teams in Google Chrome or Firefox, try going to the download site in Microsoft Edge instead.
  2. Step 2 I can't install MS Teams on Windows 10.
    If you get the message "We've run into an issue" when you try to download and install the new Teams on Windows 10, you can usually fix the problem by installing the WebView2 Runtime.[2] Here's how:
    • Open Edge and go to the Microsoft Edge WebView2 download page.
    • Click the Download button.
    • Click the Download button under "Evergreen Bootstrapper," then click Accept and Download.
    • Click Save to save the installer.
    • Once downloaded, double-click the installer file (MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup.exe) and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
    • Close Microsoft Teams and reopen it, or try downloading it again.
  3. Step 3 When I click a Teams invitation link, the Teams desktop app doesn't open.
    If clicking a Teams meeting link opens the web browser version of Teams instead of the version you installed, there are a few quick fixes:

    • If that doesn't help, click the Join Online link in the meeting invite (or Click here to join the meeting) to open the meeting in your browser.
