Do you want to hide your Facebook friend list from prying eyes? While there is unfortunately no way to hide the number of Facebook friends you have, you can hide your friends list. You can change your privacy settings on Facebook to make it so your friends list is only visible to you. This tutorial will show you how to make your friends list private using the Android app.
Hiding Your Facebook Friends List
When you open Facebook, open your Account Settings and select Privacy from the menu. Select "Who can see my friends list?" and switch it to "Only Me" to hide it from everyone else. This will hide your friends list. Unfortunately, there's no way to hide the number of friends you have on Facebook.

Open the Facebook app on your device. The Facebook icon looks like a white "f" inside a blue box on your Apps list.- If you're not automatically signed into Facebook on your device, enter your email address or phone number and your password to log in.

Tap on the three horizontal lines icon. It's in the upper-right corner of the Facebook app. -
Scroll down and tap Settings & Privacy > Settings. The Settings & Privacy option has an icon of a cog wheel. -
Tap How people find and contact you. It's under the "Audience and visibility" heading. You'll have to scroll to find it. -
Tap Who can see your friends list?. This option is near the top, under the "Your friends" header. It will open a menu with different privacy options. -
Select Only me from the menu. Only me has an icon of a lock next to it. This option hides your friends list and the number of friends you have from everybody but you.[1]- Your friends will still be able to see your mutual friends even when you select Only me.
