If you are using Google Contacts on other Android devices, you can hide your contacts on the Google Contacts website.

Hiding Contacts on an Android Device

Go to https://contacts.google.com/ in a web browser, and sign into your account. Hover your mouse over the contact you want to hide, then click the button with three vertical dots. From there, click “Hide From Contacts” on the dropdown menu. This will hide the contact from your contact list.
