Are you wondering how to get Newsmax+ on your Samsung TV? Fortunately, Newsmax developers created and launched an app for Newsmax+ in late December 2013 for smart TVs, including Samsung TV, Google TV, and Android TV. As long as you're using a Samsung TV with Tizen OS, it's easy to find the app. If not, you can cast Newsmax Plus to your TV from your phone or tablet.

Getting Newsmax Plus on Your Samsung TV

Go to the App section on your Samsung TV and search for Newsmax+ to install the app for free. If you don't have a subscription, go to the Newsmax site and sign up for a free trial, then log into the Newsmax+ app on your TV.

  1. If you can't find the Newsmax app on your Samsung TV, you can download it on your Android, iPhone, or iPad, and mirror it to your Samsung TV's screen. It's free to download the Newsmax app from the Google Play Store and App Store.
    • Tizen OS ships with all Samsung TVs since later 2015 models, so you'll only need to cast from your phone or tablet if you have an older TV.[3]
    • The first time you open the Newsmax app, you'll be asked to sign in with your Newsmax Plus subscription.
  2. Once you have the app open and are watching a show, you can mirror your screen to your TV to watch Newsmax on the big screen.
    • iPhone/iPad: Swipe down from the top-right corner of the Home screen, tap the Screen Mirroring option, and select your Samsung TV.
    • Android:, swipe down from the top of the home screen to open your quick settings, then tap Smart View, Screen Mirroring, or similar.

Tips

  • There are reports[4] [5] of the app not working properly on multiple TVs, and Newsmax has said that the app isn't handling the demand well and there's no fix currently available. Instead, users restart the app and log back in to get it working temporarily.
