  In general, use hashtags that are specific and targeted. These will be more effective than broad, popular hashtags since you'll have less competition when using them. Keep in mind that Instagram will limit you to a maximum of 30 hashtags per post. When you're first starting out on Instagram, use all 30 hashtags if you can.
