“99 Nights in the Forest” is one of the most popular games on Roblox right now, but this survival horror game is surprisingly tough. Bandages are a useful way to restore your health points or revive a fallen teammate. But where exactly do you get them? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We’re going over everything from where to find bandages in the woods to how to craft bandages—and which class gets bandages for free.
Where do you find bandages in 99 Nights in a Forest?
- Chests: Bandages and medkits occasionally spawn in chests
- Clinics: Check the cabinets inside randomly-spawning hospital buildings
- Crafting: Craft bandages at the anvil from 2 rabbit feet and 2 wolf pelts
- Medic class: If you play as a Medic, you start with 2 bandages per round
Steps
Crafting Bandages
-
Rebuild the anvil to begin crafting items. Once your campfire reaches level 5, you can access the Anvil and begin crafting. Use the Anvil icon on your map to travel to the Anvil building—it’s a large, cylindrical building with an anvil symbol. Kill any wolves guarding the door, then use your axe to chop down the wooden gate. Go inside and clear out the 3 cultists, then rebuild the anvil.[3]
- Find the Anvil pieces: Find the first Anvil piece on the ground floor and add it to your sack, then use the green vines and scaffolding to climb the tower to find the remaining two Anvil pieces.
- Rebuild the Anvil: Place all three Anvil pieces on the Anvil blueprint outline to finish rebuilding the Anvil.
-
Select “Bandage” from the crafting menu. Once the Anvil is rebuilt, go to the crafting table. Press and hold E to open the crafting menu, then press the green SELECT button under the “Bandage” recipe.
- This screen will show the ingredients you need to craft each item.
- Once you select an item to craft, you won’t be able to select anything else until you’ve crafted that item. So, it’s best to wait until you have all of the items you need to craft something before you select it.[4]
-
Place 2 rabbit feet and 2 wolf pelts on the Anvil. Go to the Anvil, then select your sack from the hotbar. Press F to drop the items from your sack onto the Anvil. You’ll need 2 rabbit feet and 2 wolf pelts to craft a Bandage. Wait for the Anvil to finish crafting your bandage, then pick it up.
- The items in your sack will come out in the same order you put them in.
- If you’re carrying other items in your sack, it’s okay if they fall on the Anvil—only the items needed to craft the item will be used.
Why are bandages helpful in 99 Nights in a Forest?
-
Bandages help restore some of your health. There are lots of opportunities in the game for your character to take damage. You can be attacked by wild animals like wolves, bears, and a Deer that stands on two legs. Cultists and Aliens may also attack you.[6] You can also take damage from falling.
- A bandage will restore about 50 health points. If your health bar is very low, a bandage probably won’t refill it all the way.[7]
-
Bandages can revive your teammates who have died. If you’re playing with other people, you can use a bandage to bring one of them back if you die. Equip a bandage by holding it in your hand, then walk up to your fallen teammate. Press and hold E to use the bandage and revive your teammate.[8]
- A medkit will also revive your teammate, and the player will come back with more health than if you use a bandage.
