Where can I print something near me for free (don't own a printer)
I need to print my resume for a job interview coming up. I also sometimes like to print interesting articles and need to print essays for school sometimes but my printer broke a while back and I can't get another just yet. Where can I go to print things without paying?

Libraries. Public libraries and some universities will give you a couple of pages for free. Every once in a while, you come across a nice computer shop, and they'll help you out. But libraries are awesome and underutilized.

Go to your local library! I’ve used mine to print all kinds of stuff. It used to be free, but now it’s like a nickel a page or something unfathomably cheap like that. I think a lot of libraries also give you like 5-10 pages for free, too.

If you act like a hotel guest you might be able to print something for free at a hotel business center

Similarly if you act like a student there are probably some places at your local college campus that have free printing, or you can find a printer and beg a student to help you print stuff

Another vote here for the library. However, if you’re really trying to not spend any money, and you don’t mind potentially getting yelled at by a retail store employee, go to a Best Buy or Office Max or something. These stores usually have a few higher-end printers hooked up for demos. You just have to bring your PC or phone and hook it up to the printer. If you get caught, you can just say you’re testing it!

Have you tried whispering your print request to the wind and hoping a kind soul hears it? If that fails, libraries, community centers, or even a friend with a printer might be your next best bet! 😆

If you work somewhere that has a printer, you could always ask your boss if you can print off a couple personal documents. They may limit how many pages you're able to print off though.
You could also try going to a hotel and asking to use their conference center. Or, if you live in an apartment complex with a business center, it probably has a printer. Some cafes that offer wi-fi might agree to print a paper for you, too.

Is there any way you can use digital copies of your documents to avoid printing? Try reaching out to the hiring manager and asking if you can submit your resume by email. Admittedly it depends on the kind of job, but I feel like most hiring managers don’t even ask for paper resumes anymore.

Surely you have a friend with a printer? Family even? Just ask if you can send the files for them to print off. Otherwise, pop on over for a visit.

A lot of office supply stores also just offer print services at one of their helps desks if you want to avoid the hassle. Take a flash drive with your documents to FedEx Office, Staples, or any other local print shop and have them print off copies for you.
