So basically, dark academia is kind of like the harry potter style. It revolves around browns, reds, greens, and blacks. It is like collared shirts, sweaters, dress pants, and trench coats.

As much as I love wiki quizzes (And how they're usually pretty accurate) they did NOT get this one correct. They gave me dark accademia, and I didn't know that even existed. I wear plain things, like sweatpants and a t shirt, and then add cute and colorful accessories like bracelets and other things. I hardly ever wear brown. (can't remember the last time I did) I took the quiz AGAIN and got same results!! HOW?! I'm more of a kawaiicore aesthetic.

Create an inspiration board. Start to save images to see what you're drawn to. Once you have about 15 images saved, look for a common theme. Is it a color or texture or items that is in all the images? This is an easy way to see a visual for what you are drawn to. Also start taking note of how you feel when you put on an outfit. What makes you feel comfortable and confident and get curious on why. Is it the fit? Is it the color? Also, you can look at people around you and what they are wearing. What do you like? What do you dislike? Learning more about your preferences will make it easier to move forward with your style.
