Is it normal to have a dream about someone I've never met?

So, basically I've been wondering about this for a while. A couple years ago I had dream, a quite average normal dream. I was about 12 at the time and in the dream I was playing with some friends, and my brother and sister. They were running from me because we were playing tag and I was it. Then someone said something and I looked around and a girl was walking up to me and introduced her self and we talked for a bit. Suddenly I realized I was still playing tag and said that I had to go. The dream ended. I woke up and remembered the dream and was wondering who that girl was. Then like 2 days later my sister told me she made a new friend. 3 days after that I met her friend and she looked exactly the same and had the same name as the girl from the dream. I told my mom this and she said that she'd never heard of someone seeing someone in their dreams before they met them. So I stopped thinking about it much. Until about a month ago I met a friend and we were talking about dreams and then I realized i'd seen her somewhere before......in a dream from when I was 9. So i'm wondering if this means something or if it's just a product of my imagination.

In our dreams, we are often problem solving things in our lives on a deeper level. You can absolutely have someone appear in your dreams that you have not met before, and then a week later you might run into somebody who really is that person–that's called ESP. And we have ESP. That ESP creeps in and you actually see the face of a person that you haven't even met yet, and you're going to meet them in two weeks. It happens all the time.

I mean I was about to say Deja vu but not exactly. I've never had this feeling before it's really rare! Having a dram about someone you've never met but you meet them suddenly sometime after the years or anytime. Well, I have the kind of the same thing as you but like really different were I see a boy and like there are boys like them that look literally the same exact type and look but in their own way. I mean I don't know if you do understand but I have that and it's true! Like I see the same type of boy and they look like them but in their own look. Not saying their twins. I searched it up and it's called Deja reve where people for short as in French say already dreamed. Also called precognitive dreams, synchronicity and dream telepathy. This really rare but people do experience it!

What does it mean if I keep dreaming about someone?
So I bumped into somebody last week and thought nothing of it, and boom, there they were in my dreams the last few nights. They really haven't been on my mind while I'm awake, but it's weird that they keep showing up while I'm dreaming, right? I'm a little freaked out tbh. Why is this specific person all of a sudden coming into my dreams and what does it mean?

Why am I dreaming of my ex so much?
So my ex boyfriend and I broke up OVER a year ago, I've been out with other people since then and would consider myself "over it," but lately I've been having vivid dreams about him and I'm not sure why. Strange Goat Encounters: A Week of Unexplained Signs
For the past week, I've been having vivid dreams about goats, and oddly enough, my coworkers—who’ve never mentioned goats before—have started talking about them. To top it off, I keep seeing goats being transported in a veterinarian van on my way to work. My head has also been feeling unusually hot during this time. This is all so unusual and has never happened to me before. What do you think is going on? Is there any significance to these goat encounters, and how should I respond to this strange phenomenon?

I want to start lucid dreaming. Any good beginner methods?
I've read accounts online of people lucid dreaming and it always sounds so cool. I had a lucid dream once, years ago, but it was accidental and I have no idea what I did to make it happen, nor how to repeat it! Anybody have any good tips?
