How do I create a character for a game?

I’m following the tutorial on “How to Create a Racing Game in Scratch”. I’ve got my track set up, but I’m unsure how to design or upload the player’s car character. Should I draw the sprite myself in Scratch, upload an image, or use one from the Scratch library? Also, how do I position or size it correctly for the track?
