How can I recover photos I accidentally deleted (iPhone)?
Hi, so, I deleted a number of photos from Google Photos because I didn't realze they would delete from my iPhone--how do I get them back? I didn't want to delete them everywhere, just on Google Photos.

Google says they give you 60 days from the time of deletion. Go to your Google Photos app, then go to the Library and to Trash. If they do not show here, a recovery on the phone would need to take place using Google backup and recovery.

If you go to the Photos app, Utilities section, and select "Recently Deleted" you may be able to get them back. Good luck to you.

You can try using takeout.google.com to export a backup of your Google photos. You may luck out and be able to recover some of the photos that were deleted on your phone but can still be access through takeout. When I used it in the past I was only able to recover a fraction of my photos, but that's still something.

If you have iCloud backup enabled, you might be able to recover your photos. Just go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos. Also visit iCloud.com and check the Photos section there to see if your deleted photos are still available.

If you have another device, like an old phone or laptop, try checking it. There's a chance that it still has copies of your photos!

If you want to delete a pic from google photos but not from your phone, turn off google photos backup in your app settings. Then, delete the pic from google photos and it will stay on your phone.

if you back up your phone, then you can restore your device from a recent backup and you should get your pix back. but save any new photos or files or anything you need somewhere else before restoring or you'll lose those as well

There are third-party websites that claim to be able to help restore deleted photos, you could try one of those? But I'd be cautious, most of them seem scammy. This might just be a learning experience.

Yeah, past the 30 day mark they are probably permanently gone. If you've backed up your files you can retrieve them from there too.

I tried that but couldn't recover all of them, is there any other way? I really don't want to lose these photos!
