Baseball caps have graced the heads of some of the cartoon world's famous characters--Hey Arnold, Ash from Pokémon, Bart Simpson, etc. Now your cartoon characters can have baseball caps too!

This will be the part of the hat that will rest on your head.
To do so, first draw a rectangle, then add a small triangle beneath it. Also draw a small half-oval on top of the semicircle you drew in step one.

This includes the curve of the visors and the division of the base (see image).
Erase the sketch.
You're done!

Draw a semi oval. Do this at the right side of the hemisphere.
- Draw a curved line over the narrow part of the semi oval.
Add in details.

Line the drawing with a black liner.
- Erase the pencil and add in color.

Is there a simpler way to draw it?

Not really, this is pretty basic. If you wanted to draw it from the side you could draw a semicircle with a horizontal line coming out of the bottom to one side.

How do I draw it from the front?

Well, there's the bill of the hat that's a bit thick, so just draw it with a thick line in front. Or you can draw it up a bit, or down for that matter. Just use a baseball cap as reference and take a few pictures.

How do you draw someone wearing a baseball cap?

Draw the person first, then draw the cap on top of the head. Make sure to put it so the top of the head is lined up with the top of the cap, so that the cap doesn't look like it's floating.
