Turn off those pesky NVIDIA overlays taking over your screen

If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, you have likely accidentally opened one of the NVIDIA overlays while trying to use your computer or play a game. While these overlays can be useful, many users find them annoying and bothersome. In this article, we'll teach you how to fully disable all NVIDIA overlays, as well as the keyboard shortcuts to turn them off if you've accidentally turned them on. Disabling the NVIDIA Overlay

  • To fully disable the overlay, open GeForce Experience, click on the gear icon, and toggle off the "IN-GAME OVERLAY."
  • To turn off the performance overlay, press Alt+R.
  • To turn off the full GeForce Experience overlay, press Alt+Z.
