  • Open your spreadsheet in Sheets on your Android.
  • Tap and hold a number next to a row.
  • Tap "Delete" to get rid of that row.
  1. The Google Sheets app looks like a six-column, white table on a green sheet icon on your Apps menu.
  2. Find the file you want to edit on the list of your saved spreadsheets, and open it.

  3. Find the row you want to delete, and long-press the row number next to it on the left-hand side of the sheet. This will highlight the entire row. Your options will pop up on a toolbar.
  4. It's on the right-hand side of the toolbar. Tapping will open a list of all your options.
  5. This will delete the entire selected row.
    • All the rows below the deleted row will be shifted upwards on your spreadsheet.
