PDF download Download Article

Cloud storage helps you save files to the cloud, so they don't take up space on your Android device. But you don't want to run out of cloud storage, or you might run into errors whenever you try to save data to the cloud! Here's how you can check your cloud storage space with services like Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive.

Checking Cloud Storage on Android

  • For Google Drive, open the app and tap ☰ > Storage.
  • For OneDrive, open the app, and tap your profile picture to see your storage listed at the bottom of the menu.
  • For Dropbox, tap your profile picture and view your storage space in the "Your Storage" box.

  1. You can either open the Google One app or head over to Google One's storage management page. Google One makes it easy to check the cloud storage for your Google account so you always know how much space you have left. You'll also be able to see how much cloud storage space is consumed by Google Drive, Google Photos, and even Gmail attachments.[1]
  2. You'll see a % amount as well as a line chart that designates the space you have and the space you're using under the "Storage" header.
    • Tap it for more information, such as how much space Google Docs is using vs how much space Google Photos is using.[2]
    • Use Google One's cleanup suggestions to get rid of unneeded large files and attachments taking up space in your Google account.
