The cakeverse is a fanfiction genre related to the omegaverse. In the cakeverse, people fall into one of 3 categories: cakes, forks, and normals. How people interact with each other depends on their category. This sets up plenty of exciting (and steamy) situations with characters in the cakeverse.

What is a “fork” character in the cakeverse?
A “fork” is someone who can taste a cake’s flavor. But the more of a cake they taste, the more they lose their other senses of taste and only crave their cake. This starts a dangerous and exciting spiral that leads to some high drama and compelling fanfiction.

What is a “normal” character in the cakeverse?
A “normal” is someone who doesn’t have the special attributes of a cake or a fork. They are like a normal person in real life. Usually, they’re side characters in the cakeverse.
