Where do you put your race bib?
Usually, the bib goes on the front of your shirt for the sake of clarity and preventing damage to the timing chip many bibs now contain. However, if you're unsure you should ask a race official.
What preparations are done before running?
I find it's most important to cover my ears during cold-weather runs. Not only are your ears especially vulnerable to frostbite, but you can also get a nasty earache when you come inside after a long run out in the cold.
What should you run in the winter?
Beginning with shorter runs close to home is a good idea. I once had to bail halfway through a 6 mile run, because I thought I was going to get frostbite. I just called an Uber and rode. Download a ride-share app just in case of emergencies.
