Additionally, while in astral form, characters can perceive the Material Plane and other planes of existence, but they cannot interact with them physically unless they return to their physical bodies. Furthermore, if a character's astral form is slain while on the Astral Plane, their physical body will die as well, severing the connection between the two. Thus, caution and careful planning are necessary when embarking on an astral journey.
